Cybersecurity, Asset Protection and Safety (CAPS!) Internship

Roles and Responsibilities

The Cybersecurity, Asset Protection, And Safety (CAPS!) Internship Program is an educational initiative created to help build the next generation of professionals in corporate and/or event security. This program grants interns the ability to utilize their established knowledge in a real-world setting.

Throughout the six-month internship term, interns will be given a project, lasting the entire term, to demonstrate what they have learned and create real world applications of their skills.

Qualifications

This is an entry-level position.
The following competencies must be exhibited to successfully complete the internship:

  • Event Security.

  • Asset Protection.

  • Equipment Stewardship.

  • Facilities Management.

  • Safety Planning.

  • Guest Screenings.

  • Site Surveillance.

  • Counterintelligence Principles.

What will you do?

Essential and other important responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Moderate all livestreams and broadcasting.

  • Facilitate all customer entrance protocols at live events.

  • Manage all security software.

  • Review proper security software and hardware for company acquisition.

  • Record inventory of hardware for all events.

  • Monitor and lead all safety measures during live events.

  • Create safety protocols and procedures.

  • Participate in G-Haven content streams and interact in chat(s).

Supervision

Receives immediate supervision from higher level supervisory and management staff.
