Coordination, Aquisition and Negotiation (CAN!) Internship Program

Role and Responsibilities

The Coordination, Acquisition, and Negotiation (CAN!) Internship Program is an educational initiative created to help build the next generation of professionals seeking careers in human resources as well as strategic communications.

Throughout the six-month internship term, interns will be given a project, lasting the entire term, to demonstrate what they have learned and create real world applications of their skills.

Qualifications

This is an entry-level position.
The following competencies must be exhibited to successfully complete the internship:

  • Event Planning.

  • Contract Negotiation.

  • Proposal Drafting.

  • Logistical Management.

  • Acquisitional Research.

  • Budget Adherence.

  • Saving Compilations.

  • Team Leadership and Management.

What will you do?

Essential and other important responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Aid in on/offline tournament operations.

  • Event research.

  • Tournament and event planning.

  • Research trends in the gaming community to improve marketing strategies.

  • Participate in G-Haven content streams and interact in chat(s).

Supervision

Receives immediate supervision from higher level supervisory and management staff.
