Matt “DeJester” Rucinski comes from Huntley, Illinois and graduated from Spooner High School in Wisconsin. During his middle/high school life, Matt was competing against the best players around North America in the following games: Age of Empires: Age of Kings II, Counter-Strike 1.6, and World of Warcraft. In addition to his extreme gaming goals and desires, he was the all-around athlete in his high school. He has played AAA Hockey since he was 11 years old. He then played for his first semi-professional hockey team as only a senior in high school called the Spooner Mustangs out of Wisconsin. Not only did Matt receive multiple college offers for hockey, but also football, swimming and ultimate frisbee.

Currently, Matt lives in Durham, NC with his wife after graduating from Iowa State University with a Major in Management Information Systems and a minor in Computer Science. His passion for computers evolved greatly in the competitive environments of Call of Duty Warzone striving to become pro.

Not only is Matt a hard worker, but he values the satisfaction of building something from the ground up. Through the ups and the downs, his leadership and wisdom of the esports industry has guided G-Haven through the space. He joined the G-Haven family summer of 2020 as a pro-player, then later that year, came on to join the leadership team.
